Much has happened since we opened our doors for business at the beginning of September 2009 and we thank all those
who have supported us and referred business beyond our expectations.
Perfect timing

relationships, due diligence, honest advice and commitment and tailored services, a reflection of our concept.
Open for business
Our website is now up and running and we would invite you to register as a company and/or an
individual as a precursor to talking and working together.
One stop shop
You can trust UKTA to fulfil our mandate of being a true one stop shop for foreign nationals
seeking to fulfil their business opportunities in the UK. Paul’s vast range of contacts has helped
to provide information and services to clients.
Expansion
We continue to expand with new country ambassadors and partners to offer a global range of expertise. Our ambassador
programme will launch following visits to Dubai, Malaysia and Singapore in January 2010.
Introducers
We have already established partnerships with a select group of introducers in key business regions to refer clients to UKTA
with business and private needs in London on a reciprocal basis and we welcome additional relationships
Some major developments to date include;
London commercial and residential properties
UKTA has been involved with clients in property purchase and management since the business started and with the rebound
in prime residential and commercial property values in London this is expected to increase. We can assist with sourcing and
identifying appropriate residential and commercial properties, obtaining finance and appropriate tax advice and putting in
place the appropriate structures and insurance and tenancy management.
Offshore Managed Trust Company
We have commenced a joint initiative with a leading firm of London Lawyers to see how we might provide a managed
offshore trust and company service.
Marine Leisure and Business Jets
Recent high profile sales of Super yachts shows the marine leisure market is still clearly alive this confirmed by a recent
request by an A1 client for UKTA to obtain funding for a Super yacht.
Despite the challenging marketplace we offered more than six sources of finance for the boat and were able to source boat,
crew, captain and guests insurance as well as being able to offer an offshore purchase vehicle.
The list of new boats being commissioned, in build and pre-owned available on James list, provides many more opportunities
for clients and UKTA to do business together, personal relationships and trust vital to obtaining funding.
We have also started discussions to establish a partnership to provide a one stop shop to locate, finance and manage Super
yachts and executive jets of all sizes. More information in our next newsletter.
Financial Services
We helped a client track down pensions in Canada and the Netherlands and to identify the value of her UK state pension
We also assisted a law firm in St Lucia to tidy up and take forward the settlement of an estate of a St Lucia resident with UK
assets and are involved in the potential sale of a well known hotel in central London.
Entertainment
Not content with obtaining funding for a new London theatre project UKTA
have just been retained to help develop a major media enterprise in Northern
Ireland.
Corporate entertainment
During December UKTA is accompanying clients to see The Tsarina’s
Slippers at The Royal Opera House and to the opening night of the
Misanthrope as well as watching Chelsea play Portsmouth at the Shed. Paul
recently attended the Jersey STEP conference and dinners at the Law
Society in London celebrating a programme for African Lawyers and the
Annual dinner of The Chartered Institute of Securities and Investment.
Concierge services
As part of providing for the total business and family needs of clients in London our concierge services include travel,
accommodation, catering, floral, private medical services and educational advice, UKTA recently sourcing top quality
serviced accommodation in a major London club for visiting overseas clients.
STOP PRESS! Dubai - Kuala Lumpa - Singapore
Paul Deacon and a lawyer from the joint venture Firm for our offshore Managed
Trust company will be visiting Dubai, Kuala Lumpur and Singapore from the 11th
to the 21st January to meet clients, ambassadors and prospective partners to
discuss projects and relationships to our mutual advantage.
